BACKSTORY /

Growing up in the slums, Akane and her family lived a relatively happy life though they were poor and found themselves in the streets quite often. Always by her brother's side, the young girl lived oblivious to the struggles that her family was facing (too naive to realize). Yet despite the struggle, her family had a very close bond; spending every night together.

At the age of 10 everything changed. Having always lived in the "wrong part of town", murders and crimes weren't uncommon. In fact. she and her family were quite used to it. What she wasn't used to, however, was a crime occurring directly to her own family. It happened so quickly, watching in horror as both her parents were killed right in front of her. Wrong place, wrong time...That's what Hiro always told her anyway. The last thing she remembers about that day was watching both her parent's bodies hit the ground, the mage blocked the rest of that memory out. From that day forward, she and Hiro lived a life of crime. Thievery and such became their daily routine, changing locations daily to avoid capture. Crocus was opportune to do so being quite a large city.

Two years passed, living their life ripping down wanted posters and running from the law, the duo eventually ran into Asgareth Westergard (Guild Master of Fenrir's Howl). The elder took the siblings into his guild, steering them both on a path that didn't involve breaking the law and they have remained there until recently where Akane has chosen to leave her former guild and go elsewhere.

Afters some time in the guild, Akane met @NijiNoKasai who she perceived to be quite an annoyance. Though over time, the two developed quite a bond and became partners for jobs. Right as their relationship was developing, Akane had an encounter with @CarbonMakeMage leading to her "enslavement" and torture. Along with that, it also led to the first destruction of Fenrir's Howl. Deciding to leave, she and Akio eloped and went a journey just to travel Fiore.

Upon their return to Crocus, the two were almost immediately sought out by their daughter who had come from an unknown point in the future. Her reasons for being in the present time are still unknown. Between having a new family member and the desolate state of their old guild, the couple formed Lykaios Den in hopes to reform what they had before their original guild disappeared.

Though, despite her best efforts, this guild also fell apart and disbanded. Akane and Akio left to travel, and have only now returned.

Sky devil slayer magic is a type of magic which grants the user various characteristics belonging to a sky demon, allowing them to incorporate the elements of wind and air into their body. However, unlike other types of devil slayer magic, sky devil slayer magic is also geared more towards healing and support rather than just offense. This magic can almost completely heal most injuries, nullify the effects of powerful poisons, and is capable of restoring the body internally and externally including a patient's fatigue and body stress. A sky devil slayer can not use their magic to heal and restore themselves. In addition to healing, sky devil slayer magic can also grant support in battle, by boosting allies' physical prowess by way of enchantments. Despite healing and support being its main abilities, this form of magic, like other types of devil-slayer magic, is said to possess great destructive power, with its offensive spells taking the form of whirlwinds produced by the user. Being a form of devil slayer magic, users of this type of magic can consume external sources of air (those that are not produced by them) to restore their body and vitality. While air is seemingly easier to obtain than other elements commonly employed by devil slayers, it should be noted that users of sky devil slayer magic are directly affected by the air surrounding them, meaning that, if the air were to be clean, they would become more powerful, but if it were to be heavily polluted, they would become unable to use such magic as a result. The winds produced by this magic are red in color, and a tattoo like mark forms somewhere on the user's body when in use.

Sky Devil's Rage (Tenma no Gekiko): The user quickly gathers and releases a large quantity of air from their mouth in the form of a tornado-like blast. The user is also able to combine this attack with a healing spell to counter an attack, healing the target, and, for example, restoring lost memories.

Sky Devil's Claw (Tenma no Kagizume): The user generates large winds from their feet while swinging their leg down on the target.

Sky Devil's Air Fist (Tenma no Kuchuken): Thee user surrounds their fist in wind, then punches the target. Upon impact, the wind is unleashed to blow the victim back a fair distance.

Sky Devil's Fang (Tenma no Saiga): The user cloaks one of their hands in a whirlwind and strikes the target with their fingertips, leaving behind a trail of wind.

Sky Devil's Wing Slash (Tenma no Yokugeki): The user generates a large whirlwind from each of their arms, which twists and rotates to attack the targets in the surrounding area.

Sky Devil's Tornado (Tenma no Namioroshi): The user swings their hand and subsequently generates a large and very powerful tornado.

Sky Devil's Wind Blade (Tenma no Kazehashi): The user creates a spiral of wind around their hand, then throws it at the target generating a large whirlwind of very sharp blades of wind.

Sky Devil's Dance (Tenma no Mai): The user creates two streams of wind from their hands and then sends them spiraling towards the target, blowing the target away.

Rarely used, black wind mode is a power up to her usual magic and also drastically increases her speed. Each attack takes much more magic energy but is significantly stronger than before. It is usually required for her to "eat" air before every attack and similar to devil slayer markings, the redhead's arms will soon show red and black tattoo markings.
